She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Swingle, and Ruth Swingle, Jr. (Gressmire); and her brother Charles. She is survived by: her husband John Unekis; her sons, Stephen (Christina Allen) of Columbia, SC and David (Jennifer Boice) of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Alexa Renea, Reed Stone and Joshua Tyler; and her sisters, Shirley Wood, Charlotte Dowers, Jane Brown (Jim) and Roberta Gallagher (Kevin). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and a great-grand nephew.
