She was predeceased by: her parents, William Horace "Bill" Thomas and Shelba Gandy Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Peter Joseph "PJ" Meade, Jr. (Jackie), William James Holian and Cynthia Earline McKeown; her granddaughters, Amalia "Lia" James, Aubrey Frances and Andi Jo Meade; and her pet Rainey. She is also survived by her family through adoption by an extended family.
