He is survived by: his parents, Michael Green Finnell of Mashpee, MA and Deborah House Finnell Willing of Columbia, SC; his children, Michael Everett Finnell, Jr., Stephen Avery Head, Scott Wesley Lufkin and Lyla Finnell; his stepdaughter Karley Fail; and his sisters, Stephanie Finnell of Shanghai, Alison Bourne of Falmouth, MA and Rebecca Duffy of Treasure Island, FL..
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM and on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the Brought Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Joseph Cemetery.
