He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Morgan and Leo Rabkin; and his brother Robert Rabkin. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Barksdale; and his stepchildren, Legare Jones, Libby Love, Molly Kornegay (Grainger), Lois Smith (Geoffrey) and Katy Mullins (Wade). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
