She is survived by: her husband Neil McDowell; her daughters, Anna Marie Matthews (Zachary) of Columbia and Carly Fordham (Riley) of Chapin; her grandchildren, Amelia Fordham and Carter Matthews; her great grandchild Wade Fordham; her close friend Lora Peppers (Robert); her mother-in-law Rose Lawson; her in-laws, Wayne McDowell, Patty Brigman (Tommy) and Stephanie Zobay; and her nieces and nephews, Lindsay Everhart, Thomas Brigman, Megan Brigman, Rachel Maner, Travis McDowell, Caitlyn McDowell, Daniel Everhart, Clayton Everhart, Hannah Everhart and Cooper Everhart.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bush River Funeral Home (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church (120 Marydale Ln, Columbia, SC 29210).
