He is survived by: his wife Brenda Childress Porter; his brother Cordell Porter of Greenville, SC; his children, Kathryn Pledger (Mark) of Aledo, TX, Millard Porter Jr. (Jo) of Lake Park, FL and Allison Allmendinger (Todd) of Essex, MA.; his stepchildren, Scott Gerber (Jennifer) of Columbia, SC and Katie (Frederick Glenn) of Chapin, SC.; his grandchildren, Kristin, Kellyn Schmitz, Jenevah, Avery Porter, Elyssa, Gabrielle Allmendinger, Steven Gerber, Austin and Jessie Glenn; and his great grandchildren, Ellie Porter, Lyla Allmendinger, Bonnie and Audrey Hall.
