He is survived by: his daughter Tiffany Wells Nettles (Rob); his grandsons, Colin Woods and Brock Nettles; and his siblings, Margret Wells Clough, Elaine "Laney" Wells Scrufari, Barbara Wells Benton (Gaylon) and William Wells (Renee Dennis Wells).
