With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murtice June Walker of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Bragg and Lillian C. Bragg; her son Michael Keith Walker; and her sisters, Elizabeth Bragg, Dorothy Massey and Odessa Addair.
She is survived by: her husband Harold B. Walker, Sr.; her siblings, Maude Roberts, Rose Fletcher, Pat Bragg, Marcia Bogan, Wallace Bragg and William Bragg; her children, William Walker, Harold B. Walker, Jr., Robert Walker, Cynthia Evans (Guy) and Sheryl Walker; and her grandchildren, Steven Grassmann-Walker (Anika), Benjamin Grassmann, James Stoudemire Jr. (Kari), Guy Evans (Ashley), Joseph Stoudemire (Brittany), Keith Evans (Deborah), Logan Russ (Kaitlynn), Alysha Lambert (Shawn) and Victoria Walker. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Foundation Baptist Church; 1502 Faraway Drive, Columbia, SC 29223 or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
