She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Smith and Gladys Courtney Smith; and her husband Richard Hilton Johnson. She is survived by : her daughter Courtney Johnson Foster; and her son-in-law Neal Foster of Columbia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and her dear friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
