With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Margaret McFarland of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on November 19, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Emmett Adams, Jr. and Martha Margaret Swarner Adams. She is survived by: her husband Peyton "Mac" McFarland; her daughter Deborah Ohlsson (Dana); her grandsons, Christopher Ohlsson (Jordan) and Stefen Ohlsson; her great grandchild Bryce Ohlsson; and her siblings, Hugh Adams, Elizabeth Thomas and Melanie Stepherson. She is also survived by 3 stepchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Special Olympics, or Oliver Gospel in Columbia, SC.
