She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Bryant and Clara Beatty Howard; her husband William Arnold Brown, Jr.; and her siblings, Floyd Howard, Lester Howard, Amos Howard and Betty Henderson.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Brown (Becky) of Blythewood and Kathy Davis (Bill) of West Columbia; her grandchildren, Ashley Mitchke (Nick), Kaitlyn Brown and Nicholas Brown; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Mitchke and Michelle Mitchke. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
