He was predeceased by: his parents, O. E. Ott and Betty Jean Fogle Ott; his sister Deborah Estes; and his father-in-law John Petro. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Pam Petro-Ott; his children, Michaela Ann Ott and Alexander Ott; and his sister Pam Kinard.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205).
