With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pierrine Baker Johnson (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Nicholson and Dr. Stanley C. Baker; her husband William Woodward "Hootie" Johnson; and her brother Dr. Stanley C. Baker, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer (Chuck Todd), Marie (John Fairey), Sally (Ronnie Wrenn) and Jane (Dan Breeden); and her grandchildren, Charlie Todd, Pierrine Todd Thomas, John Fairey, Harriet Fairey Gilmer, William Fairey, Holt Wrenn, Sarah Wrenn Donelan, Mary Breeden, Sally Breeden Lightsey and Anne Breeden Pitt. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Eastminster Presbyterian Church or to a charity of one's choice.
