He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Henry and Lois Sloan Desso. He is survived by: his brother Henry Desso (Debbie); his sibling's children, Lori Desso Noble and Tony Desso (Kristina); and his great-nephews, Justin Noble, Matthew Noble, AJ Desso and James Desso.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Hawg Ridin' Fools MC.
