With sadness, we share the passing of Reba Davant of Columbia, South Carolina. Reba, born on February 26, 1940, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Boatwright and Ernest B. Caughman. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Davant; her daughters, Claudia Davant (David Keith) and Jessica McLeod; her granddaughters, Eliza McLeod, Rebecca Mcleod-Phebus (Jacob Phebus) and Raewyn McLeod; and her siblings, Kitty Henderson and John Caughman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223).
In lieu of flowers memorials are respectfully requested to be made to Hospices Service of SC.
