He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Ray Barnes and Anne Moore Barnes; and his brother Buddy Barnes. He is survived by: his brother Terry Barnes (Dianne) of Columbia; his sister-in-law Lynn Barnes of Chapin; and his sibling's children, Lisa Evans (Bryan) of Chapin, Ryan Barnes (Amber) and Caroline Barnes of Columbia. He is also survived by four great-nieces and nephews.
