He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Wilbur and Mary Ann Bolton Wilbur; his wife Eva Bragg Wilbur; his siblings, Bill, Dick, Jim, Charles, Walter Wilbur and Jane McCoy; and his son-in-law Randy Scott.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Scott and Bobby Wilbur (Donna); his grandsons, Allen (Marianna), Jay Wilbur, Dale (Margaret), Brian (Anne) and Jay Scott (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Grady, Caroline, Benjamin and Barrie; his siblings, Gene Wilbur and Liz Dailey; and his caregivers, LaToya Moore, Nina Blake and Emma Burkett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
