He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Baucom Jr. and Eunice Bricker Baucom Guy. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Brian Robert Baucom (Stacy), Kevin George Baucom (Catherine) and William Scott Baucom (Sherry); his grandchildren, Callie Elizabeth Baucom, Madeleine Claire Baucom, Clayton Wilson Baucom and Lily Catherine Baucom; his sisters, Eleanor Scott Cook, Melanie Hughes (Michael) and Marsha Porter (Brad); and his brother-in-law Ed Caughman.
A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229). Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Northeast Presbyterian Church (601 Polo Rd, Columbia, SC 29223). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
