It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Halliday (Columbia, South Carolina), who passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Ernestine Bass Halliday; and his sister Barbara Halliday Lamb. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Oliver Halliday; his children, Lisa Halliday Davis (William Austin Davis) and Bradley William Halliday (Meredith Brown Halliday); his grandchildren, Katherine Austin Davis, William Hilton Halliday, Hunter Bradley Halliday, Laura Clifton Davis and Thomas Robert Halliday; his sister Betty Halliday Lockhart; his siblings-in-law, Angeline Oliver Horton and Leo Clifton Oliver, Jr. (Buddy); and his pets, Gracie and Louie.
