We are sad to announce that, on March 12, 2026, at the age of 80, Robert Ernest Robinson (Columbia, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Robert Robinson and Mary Ernest Campbell Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia McDermott Robinson; his children, Laura Whitley (Kit), Jill Scheper (Bill) and Michael Fields (Shannon); his brothers, Jack (Kitty) and Dan (Karen); his grandchildren, MaryClaire, Benjamin Robert Whitley, William, Rebecca, Kaitlin, Rachael Scheper, Elyse and Jacob Fields; and his brother-in-law Michael C. McDermott. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
