He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lomas Windhorn and Rosa Mae Folk Windhorn of Blythewood; his son Robert Windhorn, Jr. (Rob); and his siblings, Kathryn Price, Mary Elizabeth Teskey, John Lomas Windhorn Jr., Helen Anderson, Rosalind Baucom, Jerry M. Windhorn and Margaret Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Tannery Windhorn (Mickey); his sister-in-law Ann Sease Windhorn of Columbia; his daughter Donna Harrison (Connor) of Blythewood; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Harrison-Comber of Blythewood, Connor Harrison, Jr. (Sarah) of Rome, Wynn Harrison-Kern (Matthew) of Cortlandt Manor and Jerry Windhorn of Nashville, TN.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
