We are sad to announce that, on January 25, 2026, at the age of 89, Robert Clay Woods (Columbia, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Woods and Sarah Woods Harvey; his wife Barbara Woods; his sisters, Dorothy Allen and Maxine Blume; and his uncle Gerald Greene.
He is survived by: his close friends, Daryl Hendrix, Steve Zagorski, Larry Price and Bill Buck.
