It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Cicolini Long of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Rex Long of Columbia, SC; and her siblings, Sylvia LaRaia of Brackenridge and Emidio "Chick" Cicolini of Bowie, MD.. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Long of Blythewood, Andrea Parrott (Harold) of Ridgeway, Michael Long (Cerese) of Lexington and Jeffrey Long of Columbia, SC.; her grandchildren, Daniel, Amanda Tucker and Jessica Shumpert (Patrick); her great grandchildren, John, Maddie, Bryce Creech and Reece Shumpert; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Orris of Fawn Township, PA and Peggy Cicolini of Bowie, MD.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated, in memory of Rose, to the First Church of God, 2665 Covenant Rd, Columbia, SC 29204.
