She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Kennon Price, Jr. and Dorothy Sowell Threatt; and her brother-in-law Hallie Sue Price Harris (Philip). She is survived by: her husband Timothy Hamilton Nance; her daughter Katherine Nance Elliott (John); and her grandchildren, John "Jack" Hamilton and Eleanor Quinn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (3909 Forest Dr, Columbia, SC 29204). Despite enjoying retirement, she swiftly volunteered to homeschool Jack during his kindergarten year, which coincided with the COVID pandemic of 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Final Victory Animal Rescue.
