He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy McRee and Polly Onley Calvitt; his wife Wilhelmina Kinsey Calvitt; and his siblings, Claude, Jr., Palmer Calvitt, Alice Morgan, Annie Lou Morgan, Mary Ellen Hamilton, Margie Woods, Nina Sharpe, Emma Calvitt and Martha Ann Calvitt.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Collins-Morgan (Ron Morgan); and his grandsons, Christopher Sean Collins and Carter Samuel Collins (Megan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
