He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carolyn Schneider and Sam McVey. He is survived by: his parents, Greg McVey and Conli McVey; his siblings, Ashley, Lexi and Brian; his grandparents, Lynn McVey and Charles Schneider; and his aunts and uncles, Sonny (Kim Comstock), Dusty (Tasha McVey), Jon (Cami McBride), Derek (Channing Shipley) and Billy (Collyn Gillispie).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM at the GraceLife Church (501 Clemson Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in Shane's memory.
