It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Spangler Hendricks (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Inman Hendricks; and her parents, James Christian and Martha Lamon Spangler. She is survived by: her sister Sally Spangler Barnett (Bill) of Jacksonville, Florida; her sons, Lloyd Inman Hendricks, Jr. of Ocean Isle and James Christian Hendricks of Columbia; her grandchildren, James Christian Hendricks, Jr., John Walker Hendricks, Caroline Ellen Hendricks, Lloyd Inman Hendricks III and Carter Spangler Hendricks; her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Hendricks Turner of Winston-Salem; and her close friend Charleston.
