He was predeceased by: his parents, Lex Edward Elkins Sr. and Margaret Lois Faulkner Elkins. He is survived by: his sons, Edward and Hunter (Lakyn); his granddaughter Eden; his sister Debby McIntyre; his niece Gabrielle Stalnaker; and his nephews, Cody McIlroy (Louisa) and Lex Elkins III (Chelsea).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209).
