We bid farewell to Thomas Walter Hinson of Columbia, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 31, 2024 at the age of 82. Thomas Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hinson and Ollie Mae Hinson Quigley; his stepparents, Fred Quigley and Annie Rose Hinson; his children, Ray Hinson, Laura Hinson-Zilker and Tammy Hinson; and his siblings, Debbie Sauls, Carole Duncan (Hinson) and Andrew Hinson.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sister Bonnie Gramling (Howard); his sister-in-law Sally Hinson; his granddaughter Lauren Hadwin (Drew); his great grandchildren, Bentley, Lucie and Cyrus Hadwin; his stepdaughter Jamie Buckland (David); and his grandsons, Peyton and Brandon Buckland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no service and donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (140 Stoneridge Drive, #640, Columbia, SC 29210 or Donate (https://www.alz.org)) to continue finding a cure for the dreadful disease.
