He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzia Edward and Flossie Lee Davis Thompson; and his brothers, Tresvant Thompson, Ernest Thompson and Clarence Thompson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clara Pinckney of Hopkins, SC, Karen Moore (Elijah) of Columbia, SC, Kathy Nathan of Hopkins, SC, Larry Thompson (Loraine) of Columbia, SC, Lonzo Thompson (Louise) of Eastover, SC, Slyvester Thompson of Hopkins, SC and Ulysees Thompson of Hopkins, SC; his uncle Walter Thompson, Sr.; his aunt Anna Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Willene Thompson and Lorine Thompson. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
