She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Vernon and Eva Olando Shuler Wactor; and her sister Lois Purser. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Adams Padgett (Scott) and Jacob Tillman Williams (Susan); her grandchildren, Mac Williams (Darsey), Anna Williams (Douglas Harper), Ben Adams and Sarah Adams Boyd (Johnny); her great grandchild Rhodes Boyd; and her caregiver Laverne Peterson.
