He was predeceased by: his parents, Euris McMillan Grimes (Trinidad) and Tobago; and his brother-in-law Trevor. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Baron; his children, Aisha Barnwell, Saidah Grimes and Torron Grimes; his grandchildren, Torron Grimes Jr., Luke Barnwell and Nicole Barnwell; and his siblings, Merlyn Thomas (Michael), Eileen Thomas (Trevor), Mervin Grimes and Alexander Grimes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers.
