He is survived by: his wife Annie Mae; his stepson Trevoi LaNair Crump, Sr. (Nikia) of Sumter, SC; his grandsons, Trevoi LaNair Crump, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Terrence LaRone Crump, James Lawrence Crump, II of Ft. Hood and Taequon Crump of Killeen, Texas; his great grandchildren, London Aubree Pope and Jaceon Gianni Crump; his siblings, Ester Johnson (Joseph) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Sylvester Meredith of Washington, DC, Elizabeth (Willard) of Albany, NY, Elnora Porter of Forestville, MD and Isaac Meredith of Fort Washington, MD; his siblings-in-law, Herman McCaw (Lottie) of Sumter, SC, Clara Champ of Suitland, Katie Spencer (March) of Ft. Washington, MD, Hestina McCaw of Columbia, SC and A. Ruth McCaw of Dalzell, SC; and his close friends, Joseph Sawyer of Fort Washington, MD, Solomon Young of Fort Washington, MD, Clyde Moody of Fort Washington, MD, Gregory Goff of Charlotte, NC and Mike Williams of Louisa, Virginia.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.

In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 3255 Sargent Road, Dalzell.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
