She was predeceased by : her father James Franklin Wessinger Jr.; and her husband Wade H. Padgett III. She is survived by : her mother Edith Riley Wessinger of Virginia; her children, Cullen Padgett (Elizabeth) and Hampton Padgett (Christine); her granddaughters, Layla and Airlie Padgett; her siblings, Franklin Wessinger (Leslie) and Janet W. Tapp (Allen); her nephew Blake Wessinger; and her niece Caroline Tapp.
