She was predeceased by: her father James Franklin Wessinger Jr.; and her husband Wade H. Padgett III. She is survived by: her mother Edith Riley Wessinger of Virginia; her children, Cullen Padgett (Elizabeth) and Hampton Padgett (Christine); her granddaughters, Layla and Airlie Padgett; her siblings, Franklin Wessinger (Leslie) and Janet W. Tapp (Allen); and her siblings' children, Blake Wessinger and Caroline Tapp.
