Wallis C. Houseman Obituary
We bid farewell to Wallis C. Houseman (Columbia, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Wallis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Carter and Woodrow Carter; her husband Charles Arthur "Chuck" Houseman; and her siblings, Bailey Carter Weaver and Henry Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Trace Houseman Ballou and Sloane Houseman Molloy; her grandsons, Noah Houseman Ballou, Charles Ellery Ballou and Christian Marc Molloy; her son-in-law Mehrdad Vejdani; and her brothers, Fletcher Carter, Michael Carter and Ashley Carter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
