He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Harris, Jr. (Sonny) and Shirley Powers Harris; his stepdaughter Miranda Coleman; and his in-laws, Rodrick K. Sparrow, Jr. and Maryann Sessions Sparrow.
He is survived by: his wife Cricket Sparrow Harris; his grandchildren, Bentley and Makala Coleman of Nichols, SC; and his brothers, Ronnie Harris of Rowland, NC and Chris Harris of Dillon, SC..
