He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fuller Johnson and Mary Pearce Johnson; his sister Eleanor Blizard; and his in-laws, Dot and Bill Dimmery.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Dimmery Johnson; his children, Chapin J. Dean (Andy), Louise J. Rex (Adam) and Matthew W. Johnson (Amy); his grandchildren, McKenzie Gregory (Lee), Madison Reid (Justin), Hannah Williams (Matt), Haley Mauldin, Olivia Rex and Harper Grace Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Marley Mae Reid and Madeline Gregory.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to Spring Valley Presbyterian Memorial Garden, 125 Sparkleberry Lane, Columbia SC 29229.
