He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bush Nelson; his daughters, Lytarsha Jiles (Travis) of Elgin and Millcent Nelson of Camden; his siblings, Charles Nelson (Sherry) of Savannah and Frances Hooks (Joseph) of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Courtney Nelson, Meccah Nelson and Zarria Jiles. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
