He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Cavanaugh and Nettie Cavanaugh; his children, Julie (Jonathan), Teresa (Travis) and Michael (Noelle); and his grandchildren, Jacob, David, Marianne, Cecilia, Miriam, Christopher, Elizabeth, Kellen and Adrian.
