It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Jason Cooper (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Ransom Cooper, Jr. of Lexington, S. C. and Jean Prescott Blackwell of Columbia, S. C.; his siblings, Joel Cooper (Antonia) of Gilbert and Rachel Cooper of Columbia, S. C.; his nieces, Shelby Cooper, Anna Reese Cooper Rankin and Camden Cooper; and his stepsiblings, John Katsos (Cricket), Christina Reynolds, Charlotte Robertson (Tommy) and Scott Katsos (Leigh).
