He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kelly Thomas and Mary E. Robinson Thomas; and his siblings, Laura Hutchinson and Earl Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Atena Renee Perry and Robert Kelly Thomas (Marisol); his stepsons, Tracey E. Morris, Jr. and Bobby Wayne Morris; his grandchildren, Dustin Perry (Kristina), Dylan Perry and Maison Thomas; his stepgrandchildren, Audrey Fugate (Bob) and Riley Wayne Morris; and his siblings, Debra Poole and Ray Thomas (Laurence). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
