He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Naomi Corley-Ashford; his children, Sylvia Nicole Ashford Jones, Syreeta Cox (Marcus) and John Harrison Ashford (Aleysia); his grandchildren, Douglas "Trey" Jones III, Abigail Cox and Marcus Cox II; and his brother James Glover (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Dr, Columbia, SC 29203). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
