He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Knight and Lorene Nix Knight; and his siblings, Paul, Edward Knight, Sara Knight Clubb and Alice Knight Charpia.
He is survived by: his wife Madeleine Meldon Knight; his children, Kevin Zernie Knight (Gwen) of Kingsland, GA and Kim Knight Stone (Gary) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Emily Knight Myers (Shane) of Kingsland, GA, Corey Knight (Kayla) of Kingsland, GA, Brian Stone (Anna) of Louisville, KY and Blake Stone; and his great grandchild Elizabeth Stone.
