She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Monroe "Bob" Roberts and Ruby Estelle Singleton Roberts; her siblings, Juanita McLaughlin (Buddy), Garnette Johnson (Hubert), Tootsie Causey (Jerry), O'Dell Roberts Carl (Mary), Howard Roberts (Minnie Lee) and Wayne Roberts; and her granddaughter Skylar Dawn Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband James A. Lewis; her daughters, Kim Byrd (David) and Jamie Hayes (Tony); her grandchildren, Sean Byrd, A. J. Hayes (Ella), Aaron Hayes and Alex Hayes (Caroline); and her sister-in-law Mildred Roberts of Charleston, SC.
