He was predeceased by: his parents, Essie Bell Washington and Jim Jackson; and his brother Harry Gagum. He is survived by: his sisters, Faye Brown (Edward Richardson) of Columbia and Dawna Faulk of Conway; his granddaughter Zion Atkinson of Conway; his niece Tiehema Brown (Kevin McClinton) of Columbia; his nephews, De'Mario Cochran, Kwajae Faulk of Conway, Tyjha Osborne, Damon Fuller and Demetris Fuller of Columbia; his great-nieces, Ti-Kayza Reese, Da'Moni Fuller and Winter Grooms of Columbia; and his close friend Sylvia Randall of Conway. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
