She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Lewis and Clarence W. Moore; her sisters, Mary Frances "Mammy" Lewis, Willa Mae "Pie" Richardson and Peggy Lou Williams; and her daughter Cathy Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Ringnald Thompson, Jr.; her daughters, Vicki Thompson Smith (late Craig Smith) and Sonia Thompson Cargill (Todd Cargill); her grandchildren, Kimberly Smith, Christopher Smith (Ashley Smith), Alli Cargill, Madison Moen Ashton (Gage Ashton) and McKenna Moen; her great grandchildren, Grace Fortner and Sunnie Ashton; and her niece Frances Earl King (late Mike King).
