He is survived by: his wife Martha Singleton Howell of Conway; and his brothers, L. D. Howell (Jeanette) of Conway, Bobby Dean Howell (Vera) of Coward, SC and Rev. S. Paul Howell (Mary) of Sumter, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
