He is survived by: his wife Faye Todd Hooks; his sons, Brandon T. Hooks and Patrick T. Hooks (Kristen); his siblings, David Hooks (Teresa), Michael "Mack" Hooks, Julie Anderson (Wallace), Bonnie Johnson, Dinah Lane (Glenn) and Pat Small (Randy); and his grandson Shepperd P. Hooks.
