He was predeceased by: his siblings, Carrie Sumter, Leroy Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Howard Rogers and Georgie Anna Sumter; and his siblings-in-law, Thadd Sumter, Thomas Davis and Nancy Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Willie Bell Rogers; his children, Cedric Rogers (Kim Rogers), Raymond Wilkins, Darryl Rogers, Carlos Sumter, Rodney Spain, Rico Spain, Harry Bellamy, Melita Moore, Rachel Bellamy, Cheryl Bellamy, Jennifer Bellamy and Amanda Bellamy; his sisters, Azalee Davis of Spartanburg, SC, Ursell Rogers of New Haven Connecticut and Margaree Rogers of Spartanburg, SC; and his nephew Johnathan Sumter (Pudgy). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
