We announce the death of Dan Rodmaker in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 75. Dan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Dan will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Dan will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Dan’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herbert Rodmaker and Ethel Louise Thurston Rodmaker; his daughter Melissa Rodmaker; and his sister Betty Pirretti. He is survived by: his children, Owen Daniel Rodmaker (Erin) and Amy Grainger (Timmy); his grandchildren, Timothy Grainger, Jr., Carolina Rodmaker and Luke Rodmaker; and his brother Dale Rodmaker (Pauline). He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children' s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
